The Gallery
Below you will see several mini-galleries. They are broken up by theme, style, or purpose. I often take requests, so if there is something you'd like to see drawn, use the form under "contact," at left.

impromptu
Gallery: Started in December 2010
Medium: traditional base (pencil, ink) and digital clean-up and screentoning
Themes: I decided to do a series of candid shots after this feel-good image of Alice and Mandel; people reacted so positively to it, and it makes me feel good to just look at it. I wanted to do many images in a similar vein, but after that decision, I was uninspired. Instead, I have decided to do candid shots of life - whether they are blissful, boring, or even sad. I sketch things like this often, but haven't made gallery images of them.

Pandora! Volume 1 September Gallery Exhibition
Gallery: September 2010
Medium: Pencil/ pen line art, scan + clean-up, and digital half-tone and imported screen tone from ComicWorks.
Theme: No real theme. I tried to keep it somewhat carnivalesque, though that's pretty much a given. These images helped celebrate the first volume of Pandora! and were up on the gallery walls alongside giant character sketches and the first two chapters of the first book. Many of the prints sold at the opening or throughout the duration of the exhibition.
grayscale
Medium: varied
These are various images completed over the years in grayscale or black and white. There is no real theme to the set. I chose them because they are my newest works, or some of my best, or I feel they represent my evolving skill as a comic artist. Some are sketches. Enjoy~!

color
Medium: varied
If you've been following my work for awhile, you know that I prefer to work in grayscale or strict black and white. However, I have done color tests over the years, most often for gallery images or requests. These were chosen for the same reasons as the grayscale images - they include my best, my most recent, and ones that I feel show my journey in digital and traditional color mediums. Ones that are part of a series will show up in their respective galleries and not this one.
