I launched it.
On Wednesday I launched this advertisement on the host site smackjeeves.com. Some comic names I was considering pursuing were taken, and 'Pandora' was taken by so many I don't want to count.
Why the new name? It got a little makeover. Fruitcake Cavalcade is comical and fun to say. It is a perfect name for a comic about an endless parade of weird characters who are often out of their minds! I wanted to reflect the feel and image of the stories and to influence what I intend to do with it. I also wanted to cover all characters, not name it after one. Pandora hardly has a main character, but it does have main "core groups," so to speak.
What it is: The continuation of Pandora. The first chapter is here on this site. FC picks up from there. Since you're here, it's likely you've read the first chapter. But I'm writing it so that it doesn't alienate people who haven't read it.
It's hard for me to really get a feel for how many people follow Pandora. I had a lot of good feedback and communication with fans back in the day through the site's tagboard, deviantart, email, etc. After the site went down and had problems, I lost nearly all of that. I came to believe no one was interested in Pandora any longer and I lost some zeal for it. I've heard from a few people recently after I put the images up for preview, and I'm surprised that after all this time there are people who are still loving this comic and are happy to see the update! THANK YOU! Pandora fans are the best.

*I'm in Japan still - year one is coming to a close! I now have my storyboard, but I honestly don't know how quickly I will get to it. I apologize to the long-time fans of Pandora, but I believe the comic is quietly winding down.
*Volume 1 is now online in completion. I'm in Japan without my storyboard, so I am working on the webcomic. Check the Pandora! blog for more information on how this updates and where.
I'm also working on another comic: spidersilk. Have you checked it out yet?
